MONDAY JULY 19TH 2021
From today all mandatory restrictions have been removed by the English Government. However we recognise both the varying views of our members regarding safety restrictions, and we also take seriously our duty to protect and to create a safe space in our meetings, recognising many people are feeling very insecure in the current national arrangements.
HERE ARE OUR NEW ARRANGEMENTS AS ANNOUNCED YESTERDAY
What will remain in place?
We will continue to host two in-person Sunday Services per month, on the first and third Sundays, which will also be on zoom, and will require pre-registration to attend.
We will continue to operate a one-way system in and out of the premises, with hand sanitisation upon entry.
We will continue requiring the use of face coverings while inside the 'Firehouse' for our Sunday Services except for cases of medical exemption.
We will continue spacing the chairs at a greater distance than normal.
Windows will be opened as much as possible to enable ventilation.
There will not be a coffee/tea station at the back.
There will not yet be a separate children's session in the cabin.
What will change?
Congregational singing and corporate prayer will now be allowed.
Personal prayer/ministry will be allowed, as long as the individuals are happy to be in close proximity to others.
People will be able to mingle, providing the individuals concerned are happy to do so.
Due to the temperature during the summer months we will aim to reduce the length of the services, and encourage more social gatherings outside.
Attendees are requested to scan the track and trace posters upon attendance.
What about other meetings?
Participants of smaller group meetings can decide whether or not they wish to maintain face coverings and social distancing.
Ventilation should be maximised, however, and a record kept of all who are in attendance at any given time, preferably using the track and trace system.
