My Dearest Kate - charity event
In aid of LOVE AFRICA
A PRODUCTION IN AID OF GOLDEN VALLEY CHURCH'S "LOVE AFRICA" MINISTRY
MY DEAREST KATE is a play which tells the true story of Charles Dickens and his wife Catherine, who he married in 1836, based on their letters exchanged between them. An insight into the private life of one of the world's renowned author kept a secret during his lifetime. Catherine requested that her collection of the letters from Charles were given to The British Museum so that the world would know her story and the Charles she knew.
Marianne Gaston, a member of Golden Valley Church, and Marc Titley will bring the true story of the couples' relationship to life in a charity presentation at St Oswald's Church, Coney Hill, Gloucester on November 14th. The running time is approximately 60mins followed by a time of sharing what happened to their children.
LOVE AFRICA is a ministry of Golden Valley Church, Gloucester, [charity 1092358] providing support to the poor, mainly in Uganda and Kenya. In particular proceeds will be allocated to a school classroom rebuilding project in Uganda. Any additional donations to this cause are gratefully received.
ALIGNMENT:
Prophetic Conference
with Isabel Skúlason
In these times of unprecedented change and challenges we want to be fully aligned with the love and purposes of God for our lives, churches, and communities. It's a pleasure to welcome back our good friend Isabel Skúlason for our Winter Prophetic Conference. Isabel is an established prophet ministering from a foundation of the Father's love across the nations. Her ministry will help and inspire us as to walk closely with God, to encounter His love, and to be ready for all He has planned for us.
There will be two afternoon and two evening sessions on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th December 2026. Offerings will be taken up at the sessions.
Sessions will take place at St Oswald's Church, Coney Hill Road, Gloucester, GL4 4LX.
Isabel will also be with Golden Valley Church on Sunday 6th December at 2pm at the Holiday Inn, Gloucester.
